Marica Smith founder of 2nd Nature Safety began her oil and safety career in February of 2007. She rapidly excelled in her career in the industry, moving from safety attendant to safety manger in just four short years. Missy was afforded the opportunity to instruct a course to educate others who had an interest in the Oil and Gas industry. While teaching this course, she found her passion for assisting others in their career path.

Marica then made the decision to launch her own education program to assist others on their career journey in the Oil and Gas industry but lacked the financial resources to afford the training. 2nd Nature Safety opened its doors for training in 2012.

In July of 2017 Marica unfortunately passed away from Lupus and left the business to her daughter Ronchelle the new operator of the company
